I want to know if by "worst they'd ever seen" you got 95 or something which would still be the worst they'd ever seen but overall great. Or if you got 10 and were practically useless.
I highly doubt that they got 100's every week for two years it doesn't seem possible given that there are so many things that can and do go wrong in retail
clearly says grocery store not retail
It's still retail. Retail is the process of selling consumer goods or services to earn a profit
This could go either way, if you tried your hardest and still got a high score that is not a 100 then fyl but if you got a very low score and didn't even try ydi
What kind of retail store has a mystery customer that comes in every week? If they have the money then might as well spend it on raising the wages. You just might get 100s every time this way
Also... How do you figure the wage of a single employee that comes in for say 1 hour maybe 2 at max a week and most likely works for the district not the actual store... Firing that guy some how significantly increases the wages of every other person working there
I work at a grocery store, Shoprite, know NY and we have the same process happening with us. So does McDonald's. without mystery shoppers, sometimes a business isn't motivated to try hard to do well, and usually corporate sets it up and employees get a bonus for a successful score. The money technically goes to the workers, it's just only for the good workers
I work at a grocery type store and we have mystery customers and hidden tests too. It's actually pretty common
I am also wondering how they got 100 each time. In my first job I also had to deal with mystery shoppers and we sometimes got bad ratings because of bad timing and other customers faults.
From working in retail I hate mystery shoppers, I my opinion the forced conversion and questions you have to ask creates a bad shopping experience for the customers
