Today, I started having chest pains and shortness of breath. I thought I was having a heart attack and I asked my husband to take me to the hospital. He told me to wait because he'd just ordered a pizza. FML

OP was probably overreacting big time. When reading these FML's, always remember whose point of view it belongs to. The truth is going to be stretched as much as possible to make sure people are on their side, because they want sympathy. That's all this app is.

Even if she is a hypochondriac, he still should've reacted. How terrible would you feel if you ignored your loved one when they claimed to be having a heart attack, and then it turned out that they actually were having a heart attack? Not worth the risk in my opinion

When my mother started going into labor she asked my dad to drive her to the hospital and he was like wait till I finish my sandwich till my grandpa started hitting and kicking him like take your wife to the hospital (I be fair to my dad I came 3 months early)

Well as an Okie my self, the pizza will get there before the paramedics will. Plus, the closest hospital for me is like a mile a way.

I'm an Okie, too. And I can say that this is 100% true. I also live about one mile from the nearest hospital.

Sucks, OP. Hope you're ok and it wasn't serious. Reminded me of the time I had stroke symptoms but my parents wouldn't take me to the hospital because they were waiting for this person to turn up so they could sell a phone.
