Today, eight months into our marriage, my husband decided to let me know he never wanted kids so he had a vasectomy years ago. He seemed surprised he hadn’t mentioned it before, like ever. I love him but I don’t like him very much right now. In fact, I don’t like him at all right now. FML

If you went into the marriage wanting children and he deceived you by not telling you about the vasectomy, that’s grounds for annulment.

ouch, this is majorly sucks. More for him not telling you beforehand than anything else. I mean some people can't have kids, but there are ways around it. But knowing you wanted kids and not telling you is horrible

Did he know? If he did, he's definitely an arse. But if they never had a conversation about kids, this is kinda on both of them (although probably more on him since he actually had an operation to prevent himself having kids).

That's kinda Need to know information. I'd be looking into the annulment thing just on the principle of the lie, let alone anything else. If he's lied about this, what else is he lying about?

Did you ever have the kid discussion. If not you did it to yourself and its more your fault then his because he doesn't want kids so why would he bring it up.
