I agree your life sucks, but maybe not for the reason that you do. If your ex-boyfriend did this after two years, then I feel awful for you that you either don't have a working asshole alert, or else that you have so little sense of self-worth that you think you need to put up with an asshole. The fact that he did something like this is just part of who he is, and you should have known before this happened.

In lofty defense of the boyfriend, I've dated people who without fail every single week have new, usually self inflicted, drama and are in constant need of placation and validation, and it's exhausting.
