Misleading

Today, I went to dinner with a guy I like and paid the $120 bill. After joking that he was an expensive date, he replied, "I'm laughing at how you think this is a date." FML

Not worth it!!!! unless you ordered $120 worth of drinks.. I like being independent and will sometimes pay for HALF but not for all. especially $120 ..I'm a poor college student.

So you like the guy, but never had an inkling of his personality? Also, you might like him, but apparently he didn't think it was a date. Going to get something to eat does not necessarily imply date. I feel bad for the OP, but I can't shake the idea she assumed way too much of this guy in the beginning.
