Find a new job as soon as you can. Your manager is a jerk. You deserve better. But don’t quit or make waves until you find a new job and you get a written offer.
You need a new job. I am sorry and I know it sounds easier than done but your manager is an stupid hypocrite and there is probably nothing you will be able to do about that. You could go to HR and complain about your write up or, depending on your laws about recording people without consent, you could go to her office the next day and ask how it is fair that she gets to go to the groomer but you can't go with your mother to ER while recording her. Then you can use that to back up a claim in case she fires you. Sorry about your mother, I hope she is doing better.
Get the hell out
Please tell me you sent the office video of that to her ******* boss and mentioned your write up? Cause I would
