Introversion pains

Today, I was trying to give my friend a present for his birthday. Unfortunately, he and most of my friends are loud extroverts. After what seemed like an hour of waiting for them to shut their pie holes so I could give my present to him, I just left it on the table and walked out. No one even noticed I was gone. FML

Did you tell your friend that you wanted him to open your gift and did you ever ask him to step aside and come open it? On one hand, if you didn’t, you kind of did it to yourself. On the other hand, I see on the post that reads anxiety, so if you do have anxiety, it’s one hell of a bitch to get over sometimes, even if it is to ask a simple question. If this is the case, hang in there, OP.
