Your could just tell him how you feel, you're allowed to do that. This doesn't have to be a dramatic thing.
I knew someone like this Like others have said I would set boundaries, point him in the right direction in terms of resources, move on & slowly block contact. You’re no one’s babysitter, comforter, or therapist. He can surely figure out how to manage for himself and take care of his own feelings and mental health without relying on other people.
