Today, it's been 5 years since I started a relationship with a man who'd hidden he was impotent and I was too deep into the relationship to break it off. I accepted the sex without penetration. but since then his libido has dropped too, we have no sex, and he won't see a therapist. I'm looking up gigolos, but I can't bring myself to do it. I'm 42. FML

Dump him. If he's not willing to try to get cured, he's showing you no respect or compassion. You were stupid to stay with someone who hid their impotence the first time. Get un-stupid and move on.

If sex is that important to you and he's not willing to get therapy or treatment, dump him. If the emotional bond is still there, ask yourself if that's worth giving up.

have you brought up the idea of pills? he also might be low on testosterone. there are foods that help with that naturally

if the emotional bond is still there but he cant/won't fix his problem, instead of dumping him, discuss getting a side piece. set boundaries etc, but if he is refusing to fix a part of the relationship then you should be allowed to "patch it" yourself until he fixes his part. if he refuses then yeah, maybe time to move on.

Not compatible. Sometimes people we love are better loved at distance or loved differently. It's more toxic to drag it out for five years and being frustrated, and wanting/expecting change from someone who doesn't care enough. Both of your lives are FML.
