That's really nice of you.
can I have what he's having...when I smoke I just get the worst anxiety of my life.
That's why u don't do drugs
No surprise that he works in fast food
why is it "no surprise"? a job is a job, i happen to work in fast food myself, and I'm just glad i have a job that pays.
In this economy in a America, you've got to be thankful to have a job at all (especially if you are able to support yourself and pay most of your bills with the one said job). Those with masters degrees can't find work and so have begun to infiltrate the job market in any and every aspect possible making it harder for everyone else in the process. I've got a college education, an impressive resume and beyond satisfactory customer assistance and work ethic and yet I spent a few months working in fast food and a grocery store. People wonder why I'm so happy as a cashier at work but like I tell them, I'm just happy and lucky to have a job at all and the ability to pay most of my bills and eat which is much more than many people have.
Come on, guys. You know full well he was being silly and referring to the stereotype. Don't be such kill joys.
If he gets stoned at work, it is no surprise that he's working at a fast food joint. I just don't see him getting much further than that if that's his attitude. They are more likely to tolerate dipshit behavior at low paying jobs. It's not a blow to people working in fast food, but if you go to work stoned odds are that's all you're going to be doing.
While I appreciate that the American economy is shit, I would like to point out #35 that the OP is from Australia and while jobs are certainly hard to get here, it's not quite the same level of desperation.
I didn't look to see where he is from but I stand by my opinion. If you are stupid enough to go to work stoned, you're lucky to even be working at fast food places because higher end places just aren't going to put up with it. I worked in retail for 8 years. I know what it's like to be at the bottom of the food chain so I'm not knocking anyone who has a job and does it the best they can, but most people who work responsibly move on from those jobs or at least get promoted.
Ask him what he smoked. I want some.
Most likely just weed.
Wow, okay. My brother's going through this right now. Been like that for a few days now, so we had to check him into a mental hospital. He got super stressed out trying to act normal and he got sent home from work two days in a row. Hopefully he gets better soon. Both my brother and yours, Op.
Because he was talking for the past few days about depression, anxiety and being mind ******. Plus I overheard my uncle telling him that suicide isn't the answer. We doubt it was only weed. Hopefully he gets out of this phase, because the boy that's been around for the past few days is not the brother I know and love. I found myself trying really hard not to make him cry or to offend him. He cussed out my boyfriend just for looking at him funny. Yeah, he had some problems before the drugs, but everyone has problems, he held his in and turned to drugs instead of talking or asking for help. I'm afraid for him, and hope the doctor can help with the problems my brother's too scared/confused to admit his has.
What if she wasn't even pregnant?
This made me laugh out loud. It's kind of sweet really.
