Today, my mum got upset with me for having my first hangover ever after being of legal drinking age for over 6 years. She is a closet alcoholic in denial who hides red wine bottles around the house. FML

first of all maybe op moved back home after going to school? maybe OP moved home to take care of the alcoholic mom? why is everyone attacking him/her lol OP that sucks i know how you feel. my dad is in recovery for alcoholism and if i pick up a beer or glass of wine he gets really pissed.

So many of you are so judgemental! If you drink younger you don't get hangovers. You missed out on a very important stage of growing up/life by not drinking, you can handle it better when you're young. And there's nothing wrong with living with your MUM in your twenties, not everyone can afford to move out instantly, dicks.
