Free healthcare, please?

Today, I have brain damage, no two ways about it, because I had mumps as a child that caused my brain to swell. I just found out I only got mumps because my dad lied to my mom about getting me vaccinated, because he was too cheap to pay for it. FML

county health Dept will provide MMR for free and it is required for schools. not just a verbal but health professional signatures ( yes can be forged).

Frankly I have my doubts… OP presumably got mumps as a child and only just now found they had brain damage from it? That’s seems unlikely to me. Or OP didn’t get the mumps vaccine as a child and only recently got mumps and now has brain damage? More plausible but it feels unlikely… OP please tell us you aren’t setting up a “go fund me” and using this forum to indirectly publicize it. To be honest this feels like one of the more likely explanations… By the way, I got mumps as a child - It was before they had the vaccine for it. Who knows maybe that explains something…

Right. In most countries it is totally free. Paying for it is American as can be.
