Freakout time

Today, as my son carried the cage with live food for his pet lizards up the stairs, I heard the sound of 2,500 baby crickets escaping. FML

Ahhh I know how much that sucks - I have lizards, and when one or two get out I get all uncomfortable haha... I can only imagine 2500. But it's beyond me why you have that many, because to feed one of my lizards it only takes a few dozen, because the crickets won't live much longer than a week or so.

ew them things stink sooo bad! make sure you check your heaers! one year our school got over run with them and some got stuck in the radiators, and when they got turned on the smell was so nauseating it was unbearable!!

...um...people, the OP said her son's pet LIZARDS, implying more then one. Even though 2500 still sounds rather high - but who knows, the only way to tell would be by what kind of lizard, how many, how many crickets the thing eats, etc. FYL OP. :/
