If we are honest many people have a “type” that excites or intrigues them. That doesn’t mean BF does not love or like you. Many people enjoy cosplay. Talk to your BF about what is in his mind. If you are comfortable with it, then nobody was hurt. Maybe there is something you would like BF to do or dress as?

Did you want it short and pink? If not you shouldn’t have gotten it. I’ve also heard of something called an “Angel Cut”. Basically you say you want that to hairdressers and they’re supposed to know you’re being pressured into that situation and don’t actually want that hairstyle. I’m not sure exactly what they do to help the situation from there, guess it depends on each individual case, but that could have been a less confrontational way to say no if you were worried about upsetting him.
