Today, I moved several states to start a life with my boyfriend. It would've been nice to know he was cheating before buying a house. FML
Today, my wife packed the kids up and left for Idaho. I found a letter saying that she misses her paranoid schizo dad and brother, and that she misses me when I'm at work, but can't stand me when I'm home. She is now 1700 miles away, and I'm here alone. FML
Today, I found out that my wife of 5 years has decided to change everything: her job, clothes, hair style, car, and me. FML
Today, I found out that my wife has been having an affair with the guy who's been trying to get our relationship back on track. FML
Today, my wife of 18 years and I went to a party. We arrived and left separately, and didn't even talk to one another while there. I miss her. FML
Today, my current wife left me for my ex-wife. FML

I don't know your situation, but those aren't the only reasons a woman leaves a relationship. Did you ask why she wanted a new life?

If " i never beat her" is the best you got, then maybe the bar for how she was treated was too low.
