Big booming voice issues

Today, like the rest of the past year, I had to hear my roommate as he works as tech support from home. The man does not have an "inside voice" but echoes across multiple floors like a tuba, as he debugs people's software issues over the phone. Talking to him about it only makes him angry… and louder. FML

as a person who has an awful time hearing people on the phone I appreciate when people speak up and I can actually hear them lol. but I totally get that it would be super annoying to listen to all day in your own home!

be loud back. say weird thungs for customers to hear or make it hard to hear customers could even try making the power turn off

Getting roommate fired is a bad idea... unless you're rich enough to not need his portion of the rent

My mum and her bf talk loud when they work from home too. Today they were louder than usual, maybe covid got them feeling antsy. 🙄 At least they're still employed and won't always have to work from home
