That's a tricky one, but without due process what prevents authoritarian figures from just saying your paperwork is forged?

I'm so tired of hate towards immigrants. Everyone agrees we need a border and immigration enforcement. But the immigrants who are here to work, raise families and earn their living are not a problem. They make America better and richer. If you want to limit illegal workers, then increase legal pathways, and crack down on the wealthy people who hire illegal immigrants. Harassing people who work the hardest for the lowest wages is something hateful A-holes would do. It makes everything worse. To recap, prosecute illegal employers, prosecute actual drug smugglers and criminals, and make it easier for people who want to pick fruit and build houses for low wages to do it. They are good people who don't deserve the hate.

I wanna challenge this. There are ALWAYS signs that someone is not a good person. People tend to overlook them because of the dopamine rush at the beginning of a relationship. It happens to the best of us. That’s why before we get in a relationship ask questions, gague their personalities. How do so many people end up so deep into relationships without realizing just how homophobic/misogynistic/racist/etc their partners are? What did y’all talk about before you dated? The weather?
