Depends on whether blood is a turn off, there’s a religious reason for not have sex during (then again, I’m sure three-ways would be adultery) or if a person faints at the sight of it (had a friend like that) but its all up to the individuals. Also the severity can be problematic as it can stain a bed, sheets or whatnot.
