Today, I was petsitting for my neighbor when I discovered a nest of baby birds hatched recently and were roaming about. In a yard with two hunting dogs. I witnessed a baby quail with a fatal bite wound give its last breaths. I never thought dog sitting would be a source of emotional scarring. FML.

Today, after we had our daughter on purpose, then had twin girls by accident, my husband was going to get a vasectomy while I also decided to get my tubes tied as an extra precaution. At the appointment, they did a scan to make sure I’m not pregnant already… BOOM! I’m 7 weeks pregnant with twins again. FML
