Do what any sane, rationally minded person would do. Calmly stand up, follow him to the other side of the room, look him right in the eye and sit down next to him. Keep staring for the rest of the class. Trust me, by the end of the lesson, you'll have made a friend for life.

Hello, OP here! First off, I'd like to say, wow. I was actually quite surprised that this got accepted. I literally almost choked on my drink when I saw the email notification. So, thanks guys! That aside, my thoughts on what happened was that I had been late to my class before that one, and in a rush to get into class before being REALLY late, I forgot to apply deodorant. I didn't think I smelt bad, since I took a stop to the restroom to clean up before class. Though, maybe it was something else entirely, I don't really know.
