Baller move

Today, I got laid off. Walking out of the building, I saw someone on crutches and thought, "Hey, at least I can still walk." Two hours later, I blew out my knee playing basketball. FML

That's happened to me. With all sorts of medical issues I have, I always boasted that I'd never broken a bone. Last year, I broke my wrist and a few months later, I broke my ankle and leg. I jinxed myself big time!

This isn't karma. OP was thinking his situation could be a lot worse when he saw someone on crutches and then found himself in pretty much the same situation after he hurt his knee.
