Wow thanks, I'm cured

Today, I learned from my father that all I had to do was eat right and exercise and I would be bipolar free. Gee, why hadn't I thought of that yet? FML

That’s really rough. Mental health issues suck. I find with my bpd exercise and eating healthy does help but it’s so much more then that. Stay focused and I hope you have a good dr who is able to properly help you. I’m sure your dad just feels sad that he can’t help you and is trying his best.

I have bipolar and that sucks. My parents tend to say I’m manic any time I’m excited or hyper (when I’m clearly not) so I feel you. Best of luck towards you 💕

Father knows best.

Because you’re being bipolar. And yeah, he’s right.

Because you were not eating right or exercising enough. A steady diet of pizza and a lot of vigorous exercise like Madden 2020 or Call of Duty and you'll be right as rain in no time! Psychiatry is easy!

That’s why you got bipolar.

What a load of crap! I’m in very good shape and athletic and I eat right, so if that was the case, I wouldn’t have bipolar and therefore, wouldn’t need my meds and therapy.

I think that your Dad is trying to solve your bi-polar 'problem' by giving you that advice because he feels helpless as he can't help you. That is what good Dad's do, try to help their kids but this situation is a little out of his expertise.

or they... you know do proper research and ask their childs Dr questions so they can learn
