Today, my sister started a full-time job with a good pay despite having no prior work experience and being a college freshman. Meanwhile, I've graduated with two degrees, have been working two jobs for the last five years, and still can't get a full-time position anywhere. FML

Maybe you should have thought of this possibility before pursuing a degree in English. Kidding, English majors. Just kidding. Not really.

There's always becoming a professional FML poster.

Is your sister in Harvard, Stanford, or a prestigious university? Are you in a community college?

She probably is hotter than you. That's usually how people get really good jobs for no reason

stories like this make me jot want to go to university

What did you study and what is she studying?

OP everyone has hard times your sister may be doin good now but she'll have some hard times sooner or later you will have good times soon enough

Your not alone a study showed that about 40% of graduates don't find a good paying job. Weird and sucks also.

Welcome to my world I have so much work experience that no one wants to higher me why? I've got no clue but it must be that managers are just picky just keep searching and you'll find a job but it will be a job that you want like that's how it has been with me and it's going to be the same with you. The other reason why they are not higher you is because you have degrees so they are thinking you will only be their for a month then quit your job once a place is looking for someone with your kind of degrees you have from university trust me all of my professor told me this never ever put all of your work experience on your resume or they will not higher only put down what the company your applying for want because if they look at your better then them they won't higher you.

Sorry, I have to... It's HIRE, not higher, unless your job is for testing medicinal marijuana.

You probably aren't getting a job because of your horrible grammar.

Many places/companies will higher people with less education and job experience because they can get away with paying less and they just tell you your over qualified

I feel your pain. life can really be unfair.

And this children is why we don't major in psychology
