Today, my mom let slip that the only thing my dad actually wants for Father's Day is a gaming keyboard. Cool beans, or so I thought. The one he wants has been discontinued and the only one I can find like it is going for $350. FML

Ah! My fml got posted and I had to make an account to elaborate lol. Ok so it's actually for my stepdad who has been in my life for the last 8 years and has done more for me than my biological father ever has. He's super into WoW and the keyboard in question IS a Merc Stealth and there is literally no substitute because the design is so unique.

I think a donation towards a gaming keyboard would be a good gesture. I game but I'd be happy to use a £12 USB keyboard personally. Maybe I'm not as hardcore as your father.

Can you find one that is similar? The only reason I can see for having a specific one is looks or a rare key type. Wish you luck finding one for cheap friend, you are already 100 times better than a lot of kids o fathers day.

It's Father's Day.. not his birthday You get something like tie or a nice shirt for Father's Day What I'm trying to say is you don't expect anything crazy Just cheap and thoughtful

In a twist of cruel fate his birthday is two days after father's day lol. Its always been a struggle to get him presents because he doesn't want us to buy him stuff but we always try to get him something. This is the first year he's admitted to wanting anything
