Today, my ex, who is also my roommate, questioned me about something I had said in a private conversation to my friend on Facebook. He admitted to going through my tablet, which is password protected, because he "doesn't trust me." FML

You broke up with him, but he didn't break up with you.

Yet here he is by his own admission proven to be untrustworthy to begin with i.e., "kettle calling the pot black." Better keep that new, more cryptic password away from his eyes + scan your tablet, etc for viruses & keyloggers.

OP here (wow, can't believe this got published!) So, this actually happened a few weeks ago and was not the first time he was caught/admitted. Things have since gotten better and we are able to interact like simi-normal roomies. For those of you who asked, he lives in my house b/c he has literally no where else to go and helps take care of my (our?) sick cat while I'm at work. I do keep a closer eye on my things now though. Our relationship was in no way terrible, but it for sure wasn't healthy for either of us.

should've put him to the curb one you guys broke up. That's your fault.
