Today, my car got a wheel lock because I had 5 tickets. Three of those tickets dated back to 2006. I got my car and license in 2008. FML

Today, I got 4 "photo enforced" speeding tickets in the mail. It was from the car that was stolen from me three weeks ago. FML
Today, I got pulled over for violating hands-free law and not having an updated address on my driver's license. Two days ago, I got pulled over for the same reasons. Now, I have four tickets I need to deal with. FML
Today, I received a traffic ticket by mail, presumably for speeding. Not a big deal, if my car hadn't been totalled three months ago. My driver's license is expired, too. FML
Today, I found a parking ticket on my car. Out of five cars who were in violation of the same infraction, I was the only one who received a ticket. FML
Today, I walked out to my car to see four kids taking the hubcaps, radio, and license plates off of my truck. I chased them six blocks until I tripped and twisted my ankle. I limped back to my car and found a ticket on my windshield for $55 dollars. The reason? Missing license plates. FML
Today, I got a speeding ticket in the mail, at the same time as my car was getting towed. FML
Today, I locked my keys in the car while the car was running because I got out to get the parking ticket attached to my windshield. FML
Today, I got a speeding ticket while driving to my court date for a prior speeding ticket. FML
Today, I got a parking ticket in the mail. I don't have a car. FML
Today, I got pulled over for having an expired registration. I also found out my husband hasn't been paying for my car insurance. Luckily, I didn't get arrested because I had my baby with me. They towed my car and gave me 2 tickets and a court date. Oh, and the cop sent me a friend request. FML

Well obviously there was an error. They go by license plate not vehicle. Go fight the boot.

YDI for getting at least 1 ticket -- YDI for not correcting the issue when the police sent you a notice for outstanding tickets when they received updated owner information from the courthouse -- or YDI for not properly making a change of title request to the courthouse.

A wheel lock is the boot they put on your vehicle's wheel so you can't drive it. You have to have seen it in a movie or something.

We don't have it where I live. In any case sounds like a pointless thing to do, I'd just saw it off and drive anyway.

Tickets follow you on your record. so if you get 5 tickets on your first car, and don't pay them, if they scan the 3rd car you own they'll boot it.
