Compared to the ways and means of some circumcisions here in South Africa, (going into the mountains at 18, with a rusty razor blade to become a man,) not to detail it all but I'd say you're doing ok!

it's all personal preference. There are benefits with circumcision, but it's not 100% necessary for everyone to get it done.
