Today, my boss replied-to-all to a memo I sent, wherein he states that "Filipino" should be spelled with a double P. He spells his nationality with a double R. He's from Morocco. FML

as someone who is pinay there is actually a huge difference. Filipino is the correct way to spell it when speaking of people. Philipino is the correct way when speaking of the place. noone is right or wrong.

#12, you're actually wrong . I'm Filipino myself, and it IS spelled with an F not double Ps . if this person spelled it "Phillipino", it wouldn't really be on FML .
