OP here. This happened a few years ago. She's like 28 and has loose wires in her brain. I ended up quitting that job. Not because of her. I haven't seen her since.

Reminds me of when I used to play The Sims. I would delete the door just as I commanded my Sim to light fireworks indoors ... just so I could watch him/her burn!!! Maybe I should meet your coworker, I'm sure we'd get along famously.

Today, my mom still freaks out and yells "Where?" when I mention spiders to her in any form, regardless of context, and no matter what I preface it with. She just fixates on the word "spider."
