OP here. For those that question why I had girl baby clothes it is because I have clothes from when I was a baby. They are too big for him but I was bored. And for those that think that babies are entertaining 24/7 then you are obviously not a parent. I am home alone with my child for 7 hours a day and I don't really know very many people or go too many places. My mother-in-law doesn't believe in knocking so she has a habit of just walking in. Also, I intended for this to be a one time silly event between just my child and I perhaps with me telling my husband later. I had no intentions of taking pictures to share on FB or any other social media site. (In fact, my child isn't pictured anywhere online.) Also, if my son "turns out gay" I won't really care because a few of my family members are homosexual. Lastly, I could've let my baby play with his toys but he vastly prefers me entertaining him over his toys.

Thumb me down, but this is pretty normal. A lot of mothers do it. And even take pictures. It's not a big deal. It does not make her mentally unstable and it doesn't ruin the baby. Some women just want a little girl to dress up. Since they don't have one, they dress up their baby boy. It's not like he looks like a gender at that age.
Agreed. It's strange that in this day and age it's fine for a woman to wear overalls or a suit but it's still frowned upon for a man to wear a dress or anything that could be perceived as feminine. Reverse sexism?
Just last month I put my then 7 mont old in his 2 year old cousin's shirt cuz we were out of bibs. He honesty looks like a boy in drag, (blue and pink striped shirt). It was really funny.
Should've just tilted your head a little and whispered "Now off with the head..."
I dress like a dude all the time. It's called jeans and a t shirt. Seriously though, when I cater at weddings or events (not with a company just for my local fair grounds which my family has been involved with for years) I wear black slacks and a white button up shirt with a bow tie
Why do you have girls clothes when you have a son?
Older sister maybe?
Maybe they were her clothes when she was a baby and her parents kept them and gave them to her?
That's some old clothes then
Well yeah, what else did you expect her to think. Be thankful she didn't call your state's child protection dept. & report you as a perv.
You really think that dressing your child in clothing that is traditionally worn by the opposite gender warrants a call to CPS? YOU are what's wrong with CPS. People like you make nonsensical calls, take up social workers' time and clog up the system, and then the kids that REALLY need to be removed from dangerous homes are neglected and harmed to support the self-righteous, holier-than-thou attitudes of people like you.
It's a baby, not a Barbie doll...
What kind of parent are you?? That's ridiculous!

Explain to her how that stuff is all socially constructed anyway. Pink used to be considered a boy's color!
How are you bored with your own 6 month old baby?
