Today, I went to college, where I'm studying for my dream job. Despite getting up at 5am to catch the earliest bus into town, I arrived ten minutes late. My professor knows my circumstances, but is still threatening to kick me off the course if I don't "arrive on time like everyone else." FML

I know it sucks, but if he makes an exception for you he'll have to make one for everyone else. Maybe you could carpool with a classmate?

I imagine that such a tight ass twat could only teach abnormal psychology, a subject he's obviously VERY familiar with.

Nah, businesses ethics, the great oxymoron.

Maybe you could try an earlier bus? Although it does suck that you have to wake up that early :/

I can't believe you just wrote that...

Damn I didn't read the whole thing through... My bad. Ignore the idiocy of my comment.

How is that fair? What a prick, kindly remind him that you can't do anything better about it.

technically he can do what my friend does she lives 12 miles from our university crossing a highway she can't afford a car at the moment so she pays someone gas to drive her to school. of course you need to cut back on personal indulgences but if its for a dream its necessary

I mean c'mon, if he knows what your going through, them he should be more considerate

transit must suck where u live. on a weekday the earliest bus in my neighbourhood leaves at 4:47am

I've never heard of any college prof giving two ***** about whether somebody is late or absent. You're paying for it

wow most of my professors are more understanding than that, maybe you need to have a one on one with him and try to explain again? or find a different mode of transportation that will get you there on time, good luck op

may sound desperate, but you may need a friend with a dorm who will let you stay over some nights of the week b4 that class

Y'all are suggesting getting a car like op hasn't thought of that yet. Cars are expensive. I like the bike idea, every minute saved will help. I also second the idea is carpooling with classmates. Or ask the dick teacher for a ride!
