Today, I was walking with a female friend when suddenly, my ex-girlfriend comes running down the street and says, "So, you're cheating on me with this slut, huh?!" We've been separated for a decade now. FML

Hey guys. Thanks for the support! I did file a restraining order and we are waiting to see what the outcome is. I said she is absolutely obsessive and she won't leave me alone.

They're so hard to get. It took me a lot of effort to get one even after a guy convinced me that he'd drive me and my car home and take a cab. I was really drunk and didn't know he had been stalking for months before our first date. He carjacked me and tried to take me to his home. I had to bail out of my own car and stumble to the police station.

#16, you should've gotten suspicious when his first question before even offering wasn't "Where do you live?" or "Do you live far?". Even if a nice enough person existed to offer such a thing to a stranger, they'd make sure that they were not setting themselves up for a cab fare from three towns over, first. Of course, he already knew.

I'm guessing it didn't cross his mind while being really drunk. But damn, #16 sorry to hear that.

Yeah, when you're young, dumb, naive and super drunk red flags aren't as obvious. I grew up in a bubble in the perfect little suburb. It's popped now and I'm not naive anymore, lol. I'm just saying it can be a pain to get one.

JustinJK 21

That's basically when things went south. I told him my address while we were driving and he was like "were not going to your house".

Oh my gosh 45, that sounds like half the books I read! Like those words are actually written in the novels I read. So scary! I'm glad you were able to get out of the car and he didn't chase after you with a weapon or something! So scary & yet you're so lucky you came out of that ok!

JustinJK 21

Yeah 55 that's what I was thinking. I was like "Am in a police drama? Is this csi?" He parked my car at his house behind one of his cars in an attempt to make it look like I had been there the entire time.

Dick game probably strong. she can't let go...feel sorry for OP

Who else wants a follow up on this FML?

Is there anyone that wouldn't want a follow up to this comedy gold?

You've been separated from your ex girlfriend? Don't you mean broken up?

No, that's not what he meant at all. You see, they were siamese twins at birth, attatched at the hip. As they grew up, they fell for each other, but things didn't work out, so they literally got seperated. Yes, it means they broke up.

Maybe that's why the Ex was confused. She thought they were just separated. :-)

hey geniuskitty, should think about your username next time

How many other kitties do you know that can type? Let alone use apps or navigate websites. The kitty is a genius, she just doesn't know that two different things can have the same meaning. Cats only assign one meaning to one thing. Stop being speciesist.

I'd get a restraining order if she's still that crazy and possessive after 10 years...

There are a few possibilities here, though none of them are particularly happy. Maybe the ex is vengeful and trying to ruin his life by scaring off other girls with a lie. Maybe she has some kind of mental health issue, in which case I'd have to hope she's seeing a psychiatrist for it. Whatever it is, it doesn't look pretty.

There are a lot of FML's like this, usually with shorter time frames, but that's always what I think. Some Ex, guy or gal, is taking an attack of opportunity to ruin their Ex's chance at happiness. She just happened to see the OP and wanted to ruin his night. Good thing you're not still with her, she doesn't seem to have improved in the last 10 years.

There's also the possibility she was just joking. Weird, but still better than the other scenarios. Even better if they all laughed together after she said it. But I seriously doubt they did.
