Today, I was reading an article about girls who have low self-esteem and end up whoring around to feel better. When I finished, I realized it was actually written by my best friend. The girl in the article was me. FML

Today, I was reading a blog post by a girl that I really like. In the post, it said, "I know I'm not beautiful." I told her that I thought it wasn't true at all. She responded by crying hysterically and asking me why I would say that. It turned out that it actually said, "I know I'm beautiful." FML

Today, I realized that the woman I love, who is my best friend, deserves better than me at the nadir of my life. We're still just friends, but she's been a much better friend to me than I have been to her. It's time to disappear and fix myself. FML

Today, I was talking to a female friend online. She was typing out a story bit by bit about how awful she was feeling after being teased. I was responding with "So, so true" but because of my slow typing it appeared after she wrote, "Doesn't help being fat." FML

Today, my friend needed to talk out bad feelings. Then she urged me to open up as well. I hate doing it, but it only seemed fair, so I confessed my deep insecurities. Not only did she agree with everything, but she also helpfully added that I'm boring, have no life and all my dreams are unattainable. FML

I am not sure if this is actually true but if it is I am sorry to hear that. Although I know that it is not un common for people to do things such as this to try and boost their self-esteem. I know that in most cases this actually does more damage than it does good. I guess it depends on why you are taking the actions that you are. Many people lead different lifestyles and this does not make you a bad person. I am not sure if this is what you actually do or if your friend was just saying this but it doesn't mean you are a bad person but if you are having issues with your self-esteem I hope you look for alternative ways to love the person that you are and realize that there are much healthier ways to do so that are much more effective. If you are content and happy with the person that you are people tend to be naturally attracted to such individuals. Not sure if this was to much or not or if it will help at all but god luck!

Sounds fake, an author's name is at the beginning of an article almost always, and you wouldn't have missed it unless you are extremely retarded, which would be a different fml Either way, YDI
