Today, I was just about to open up to my best friend about my depression and loneliness when I see a snapchat story with her and all my other "friends" having the time of their lives. This is the 3rd best friend that's done this to me. Hello trust issues. FML

Maybe they don't ask you along because they can tell you're depressed, and selfishly don't want to put in the effort to cheer you up. My suggestion is to find a therapist to work through the depression, and keep your friendships with those people casual.

Today, I found out my dentist is retiring. This wouldn't be that big of a deal except that if we want to transfer our dental records to a new dentist we have to do it before he retires and there's a $30 processing fee per person. Three of us use that dentist. FML

Today, while arguing with my boyfriend about how I wasn't a bad driver and could parallel park, I thought it would be easier to just let him do it. Unfortunately, while getting out of the car to switch seats, I forgot to take the car out of drive and it ran into the car in front of us. He was right. FML

Today, I found out that I have to take a weekly workshop outside of class time all semester, and it's only offered on the day I have the most work hours. I barely make ends meet as it is, but the professor said to figure it out or fail. FML

Today, I had to work at the restaurant instead of going to the prom, which nobody asked me out to. For five hours, I got to shamefully greet and seat people on their way home from the prom, all of whom knew I was too lame to get asked out. FML
