YDI Why do people feel the need to post every single thing they feel, see or do on the Internet? What's the attraction about displaying every single part of your life on social media so friends and family can pick apart your post and make you feel like shit if that is their aim. Life has enough challenges of their own without social media junkies adding fuel to their own fire and then crying about friends or family not being supportive on social media. Keep some things private. The whole world does not need to know every time you breathe, eat, etc. Call a friend, take yourself out for the day, do something for you, rather then desperately seeking for social media to prop you up and make you feel better. You are worth so much more then what face book can offer. Where's the mystery?
Sounds like it might be time to lose some weight
Shouldn't have been fishing for attention then. If you're truly lonely call a friend.
You call it mean, I call it good friends. Most good friends give you a hard time. If they aren't good friends, then ydi for adding them on Facebook in the first place. Do something about the loneliness, posting it on Facebook for attention doesn't fix anything.
FML, OP, but whenever you post stuff like that on Facebook or anywhere, from another person's point of view, looks like you're just trying to get attention. That might be why people will treat it like a joke. You should probably talk to your family if you're feeling sad.
Your friends probably just considered it a jk. I doubt they expected you to take it seriously. Also if you really feel that way, posting it on Facebook is the worst thing you could do. Talk to someone your close with instead.
Dont seek attention on facebook to make people feel sorry for you it never ends well and is kinda pathetic turn to your friends for help YDI
well, you can either unfriend/block everyone involved in this because they are not really your friends or create another profile/group/restrict policy so you can be yourself without worrying about them. you don't have to be always happy.. just don't show it to mean people
Okay, all of those comments are clearly jokes that you took wrong, given your emotional state that is understandable but all the same posting things on the Internet is always a bad idea when it's personal, it doesn't do you any good getting worthless sympathy from people who just way to make them selves feel good by saying something nice. Instead actually Talk to a friend one on one

Wow, I'm sorry. It amazes me how cruel some people can be. I hope you find someone you can talk to, OP. Hang in there.
That was extremely rude, especially from someone like your sister who is supposed to help you when you're feeling down
