#12 i completly agree. I think that the reason weeds illegal is that if it was legal the Gov. wouldnt be abl to make all the money they do off of painkillers. Like #54 I have friends who go to harvard, stanford, and yale who smoke weed. One other friend skipped two grades and smokes weed. straight 4.0 Two other friends smoke everyday, smokes before they do their hw, study and go to school and they have straight As and Bs. Look at Michael Phelps. Hes achieved so much and smoking weed has not bothered the way he lives and what he does. it just as what # 36 said "I's not the drugs fault, it's the people who use it and the way that they use it." So **** all those Marijuana Commercials that make weed so bad. I smoke ciggarettes which are far more worst then smoking weed. There are no counted deaths of Marijuana whatsoever. and it even cures cancer.

Just thinking. You know I don't actually care if it is legalised. Just decriminalize it. I am sure all of you who agree it is bad for you but no worse than alcohol or tobacco can agree that it should be decriminalized and therefore whoever wants to get hold of it and bake themselves slowly can do. Just as anyone who wants to increase their chances of cancer can go buy a pack of death-sticks and smoke themselves into a stupor. Hell, half if not more of America's last couple of decent presidents smoked or at least tried it or other drugs. If they had been unlucky enough to be caught at that moment and put in jail as so many before them have they would have still gone on to be the leaders of one of the biggest nations around? Either way. It is a useless argument because if it was ever put to a vote there are too many grey voters and too many religious nuts (and I include all religions there so nobody is being singled out) to vote against it as the media has and continues to do a great job of scaring the populous into thinking it is an evil weed.
