Today, I was at a meeting. One of the other members decided to share that their cat had passed away recently. I got an uncontrollable nervous laugh, started crying because I was laughing so hard, and left the room while everyone watched in horror. FML

I did this when my neighbor said that her dog had died. Mind you, the dog was the terror of the neighborhood, no one really cared.

Sounds a lot like Tourette's. If that's the case, I hope they are able to understand and tolerate further meetings with you. Even if that isn't the case, I wish you luck.

all jokes aside... it May be a tumor, if you continue to experience episodes like that you should get it checked. a Guy choked to death laughing because he had a tumor press the wrong buttons

I would call you a freak, but I also laugh during awkward/depressing situations. But I've never laughed so hard that I started crying and couldn't even stay in the room O: That's pretty impressive.

You're not alone OP, I laughed during Psychology class when my teach told us how her sociopath neighbor drowned kittens for fun. Well, no one else noticed I laughed since I can control it pretty well. FYL.
