Today, I wanted to ask out a cute new co-worker. She seemed shy so instead of asking her outright I left a sticky note in her cubicle. Not only did she act as if she hadn't noticed it all day, but when it was time to go home she was picked up by another woman. They kissed. FML.

I'm pretty sure that dating coworkers has been discourage for... well, a long time. Plus if she just started there, that's kind of rude to make her feel like she might make an enemy if she says no, and she's also allowed to not be interested in men or in you specifically. But, hey, the most it could have cost you is your job! You apparently aren't super attached to it anyway.

Plus if she just started there, that's kind of rude to make her feel like she might make an enemy if she says no, and she's also allowed to not be interested in men or in you specifically. But, hey, the most it could have cost you is your job! You apparently aren't super attached to it anyway.

Today, after waiting 7 months to get my amended tax return refund, I was informed today that not only did they mail it to the wrong address, the person who they mailed it to cashed the check. FML

Today, my wife ripped my head off because my brother-in-law is buying a commercial office building in Moncton and I wasn’t the agent that found him the property. I sell commercial real estate in GTA. I don’t even know where Moncton is on a map. FML

Today, while working a grueling shift where I wanted to just die, my ex-girlfriend, her friend, and some permed up rich boys pulled to the drive-thru, blasting music and overall being a nuisance. One of her boyfriends pretended to put money in the tip jar, then went, “SIKE!” and they sped off laughing. FML

Today, I heard that my ex wrecked my car. He'd "borrowed it" and has had it for 2 months. He refused to return it. I went to the police and they went behind my back and "attempted" to retrieve it yesterday, without me. This just caused him to run away. FML
