Do you have a dollar store near you? Dollar Tree, 99 cent store etc has good quality soap for cheap. Shugar Soapworks is one brand. Sorry, I hope things are better for you soon. I'm perpetually poor, so I feel your pain.
Add your hair and face to that. If you accumulate oils there, you'll come across as "unkempt" and people usually assign hygiene issues to laziness rather than consider that there may be an issue like finances that cause it.
