...phobias don't work like that. No mental or emotional disorder works like that. You need to "get a grip" on these things called manners.
But when did OP say it was a phobia?...
A phobia is a fear that interferes with day to day life. OP obviously has a fear of moths that is severe enough that they were too afraid to use their own bathroom- which is an interference in day to day life. Ergo, OP's fear of moths can be, and probably would be, classified as a specific phobia.
Moths are scary.
