Today, I got trapped in the airport lift for half an hour with my family while heading to departure. We ended up missing our flight. 3000 Malaysian bucks were spent on that flight. No one wants to compensate our loss. FML

And it was Christmas, right?
It'd be a good time to play that song "Love In An Elevator," and hope it's that nice, wholesome familial type of love and not that perverted incest.
Oh, yeah, join that sex club!

No, you need to complain to the airport. It wasn't your fault that you missed the flight so you should get a refund.

Once you get a lawyer, the airport will. Sad thing is, the lawyer gets most of it.

I would definitely talking with the airport again, give them one more chance to make up for their mistake and if they don’t then threaten to sue them

Unless it was an enclosed elevator type, can't you walk the rest of the way on a lift?

Are you talking about escalators? Elevators/lifts are enclosed.
