If possible, always try to take pictures of the schedules they create so that you can have evidence for later. Sometimes, on a whim, based on necessity or malice, they will suddenly change it and schedule you. Always be prepared, and happy birthday!

It is a very sad situation if one has to take pictures of one's schedule to prove something one way or another. No trust in one's word anymore. Everyone always wants proof.

It is sad but the same thing happened to me. Luckily, i had- not only- the text in which my boss asked me to come in on my day off and i told him no BUT also a print out of the schedule showing it was my day off. I wasnt even scheduled in the computer to work that day. It's sadly the thing we have to resort to these days.

"Why isn't Chris here? Oh, right, it's his day off." "Who's Chris again?" "You know, 29-year-old, short hair, glasses…" "I just checked the employee roster, and the only Chris is 30." "Oh, I must've been confused. Call him and tell him to get his ass in here!"

Hello everyone. I would just like to say, my schedule is the same every week, sun-thurs. My supervisor just either had his days mixed up, or hadn't noticed yet that I'm never there on Friday (I haven't been working there long). Once I pointed out to the woman who called me, that it was my scheduled day off, she apologized repeatedly and all was well. I also had a great birthday. Thanks to everyone who wished me well :)
