You told your boyfriend that you want to stop seeing him and then get mad when he dumps you? What, exactly, were you expecting? I'm not even sure that you can say that he dumped you, it sounds like you dumped him.

This is way more extreme than the vast majority of introverts. If you're so introverted that you can only deal with people once a week, you might not be a good candidate for a relationship.

Introverted people get drained emotionally easy from interacting with other people, but do like to have relationships. They don't want or need to see their partner every single day, though, or even multiple days a week. I totally get it.

I mean, can you really blame him? This is a conversation you should have upfront in the future. I'd say many, if not most, people enter exclusive relationships with the idea that the ideal outcome is moving in together, marrying, or at least spending a lot of their time with each other. I'm a super introvert too, but if you are too mentally drained to spend more than a day or two a week with the person you're most romantically interested in, maybe you should take time away from being in a committed relationship to work on your own physical, mental health, and any other hardships in your life, and only date around casually if you find that fulfilling until you improve.
