Today, at 3 am, I woke up screaming from a terrifying nightmare; it was about a giant ladybug. I am 21 years old, FML.

The issue with nightmares is that, even more so than daylight fears, they don't have to make sense. Do something to calm down, and then try to sleep again. Chamomile tea helps, if you aren't allergic. If chronic nightmares become a problem, speak to your General Practitioner, or Psychiatrist if you have one. They'll teach you methods for handling nightmares, and discuss if medication or other things (such as a CPAP) could help control them, or refer you to someone who can help you.
