Today, and every week, my boyfriend’s sister comes to his place to do his dishes. He’s 28. FML

That should be a big red flag about how much he'll help around the house and his attitude toward the division of domestic tasks. If you don't want to be the one responsible for all the cooking, cleaning and child care, consider very carefully where this relationship is heading.

The problem is that he is a grown ass man that should have learned by now to wash his own dishes instead of expecting someone else to do it for him, especially if they pile up.

My fiancé and his sisters are very close, and they wouldn't do his dishes unless he was deathly sick and couldn't clean up after himself. Even then I'm not 100% sure they wouldn't just buy him paper plates. Seems a little odd to me.

He probably made a bet with her when they were kids "if i win, you do the dishes for life!" Hahahaha

I hope he has more than just the one sister coming over to help. One sister to do his laundry and make the bed. Another to wash behind his ears and check to see if he brushed his teeth. And another to clean his bottom when he forget to wipe properly.

So the bits of food on the dishes just sit there for a week? Ewwww

why can't you do them... if you're there. you shouldn't make her do them.
