Boy, was my first time memorable. Still, when I recover, it's all bareback for me, I guess. :/
Ouch, that sucks! But they do make non-latex condoms. Or get on the pill. You should anyway, because it's more effective than condoms as long as you don't miss a day and take them at the same time everyday.
HA! So much for safe sex!
YDI because you should have known you're allergic to latex, or tested out the latex first by wrapping it around your wrist for a few minutes to see if you got a reaction. there is always polyurethane
What I really want to know is: who the **** thinks about that? Especially their first time! Jesus Christ. Op: that blows, but the first time usually isn't that great for anyone, so you're not alone!
Shouldn't you know by now if you're allergic to latex...from gloves or band-aids or something?
Keep using (non-latex) condoms (http://secure.condomania.com/products.asp?dept=45), grab Plan B if they break, and donate to Planned Parenthood. Hell, get tested there too, along with your boyfriend, as a sign of personal responsibility and good faith. The Pill doesn't protect against STD/Is. You should be not only fully confident in your partner, but willing and able to allow them to come to you if they should cheat on you, and not break up with them for it. Not using protection (reminder: The Pill is NOT protection) gives a hell of a lot of power over your health and welfare to your partner, so trust and honesty are paramount. Get some synthetic condoms, think it over, have the talk, get tested, and have fun fuckng!
lmfao, awh ! there are other solutions... you dont always have to use condoms.

they make what they call lamb skin condoms. completely latex free
two years of dating and still a condom? get tested (both of you), get birth control, don't cheat, and lose the condoms.

Ouch, that must have sucked. However, (you may well know this already) you can get latex-free condoms. Now that you know you're allergic, I'd look into getting some if I were you.
While I personally have made the decision not to have sex yet, so I haven't looked into condoms, I'm sure there are some kinds that are non-latex. Don't have to go bareback... the non-latex ones may be harder to find, but I'm sure they're out there.
