Today, after months of looking at cribs and picking out the perfect one for my unborn daughter, the store informed me that they no longer make that crib, even though the model is right there on the sales floor. I had to leave as my hormones got the best of me and I started bawling. FML

OP here. Thank you so much for all your kind and supportive words. I seem to be emotional over everything lately. Thank goodness I have such a supportive husband. I know everything happens for a reason, and we will find the perfect crib. Obviously that one wasn't meant to be.

When I was pregnant, I had a breakdown in a walmart because they didn't have the car seat and stroller I wanted. (That they advertised having) After going to three different walmarts I had enough and sat down in the isle and cried.

Might be a blessing in disguise. Check the government recall site before you order elsewhere, in case a new recall came out. You'll be visiting that site a lot for everything from baby furniture to peanut butter. Good luck!

Such a terrible tease for an expecting mother. I feel like a serious business should have their stuff together to prevent things such as this. They should know that their clientele are special.

Hormones are the worst.... I was soooo sick my first trimester I was on meds for nausea.... I remember getting sick and then crying for a good 15 minutes because I had just taken my meds before getting sick and I had wasted it!!

please don't try to buy the display it find it elsewhere. they stopped making it for a reason. if it were good, they'd still manufacture it.

That's not really true. Most items in fashion or furniture are simply replaced because they are 'out of style'... However it is strange they are still displaying a model they are not selling.

When I first read cribs I immediately thought a place to live haha. I'm sorry about your situation though!
