Today, I'm in quarantine after testing positive for Covid. Two weeks after starting a new job. Two months after receiving the vaccine. FML

What study? A quick google search shows no studies being done, but a lot of medical experts (from all over the world) saying it doesn’t alter DNA. I can go to a website and buy anti-COVID pills that will prevent COVID, but that doesn’t make it true.

The vaccine keeps you from dying. And if more people would get vaccinated then the variants wouldnt be able to keep mutating. These selfish people are making it so that this pandemic never ends. Thank God this wasn't the attitude when the polio vaccine came out.

The vaccine doesn’t prevent you from getting covid, it prevents you from getting as sick as you once could of. It also depends on what vaccine you received, some of them produced are useless and should’ve never been handed out

It happens. Did you get the one shot, J&J or needed a vaccine follow up? You are slightly more protected from the virus. Stay safe and get better.

Please don't feed the antivaxxers. (ie. they're not welcome on FML)

The polio vaccine was invented in the 1950s. HIV didn't develop until the 1980s. There is no way the polio vaccine that was invented 30 years before HIV existed gave people HIV. So already you are factually wrong within the first sentence.

@Hailstorm92 - Unless there is a legitimate medical exemption granted by a registered doctor, everyone must get vaccinated regardless of age.

Not surprising, Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines were found to be 95% effective. Even if everyone in the US was vaccinated potentially 15 Million people would get Covid regardless.
