Today, I microwaved a cup of soup. While walking back to my desk to eat and do homework, I noticed a message that said, "WARNING: Hold cup by sides, as lid may not be secure." At that exact moment, the lid that I was holding fell off and the soup drenched my Nintendo DS and printer. FML

Who hold hot soup by the lid. Seriously it is common sense to not do that. I get the sides can be hot but hold it at the top under the lid never the actual lid

so... I guess it's not common knowledge so let me say it for any other moron. don't ******* hold shit by the lid a lid is meant to keep the liquid in the cup and not meant to be used as a ******* handle. most lid only require not even half a pound of force to be opened and most sizes of cups filled are over that
