Red flags popping up all over the place

Today, my boyfriend told me that his best friend of 10 years is giving him the silent treatment because he told her he's in a relationship. He's become a depressed wreck. When I asked him if he's secretly in love with her or something, he flipped a table over and told me to, "mind my own fucking business." FML

RED FLAG. Don't get in the mix of this love triangle! LEAVE HIM! NO QUESTIONS ASKED. LEAVE HIM. He's emotionally uninterested in you and wants his best friend. Go to someone who's emotionally into you.

sounds like they both like each other. save yourself and leave

There are less red flags in China. Run now.

Not only is he so obviously into his best friend, he was emotionally unstable and violent (not directly towards you but in your presence). Get out now.

The lady dost protest too much, methinks. While we're here, how did we drop the ball on "methinks?" It was around in Shakespeare's time and now it's gone like the ivory-billed woodpecker.

As hard as it is, it's time to leave. He loves her and she has feelings for him but maybe not enough to be with him or maybe she sees his violent side and doesn't want that. Flipping a table and talking to you like that is not a rational reaction to a simple question. People escalate from violence towards things to violence towards their partner. Not always but it's definitely a red flag, especially over something so small. I hope you haven't been together long and get out before getting really hurt OP.

Let him think about it on his own and let the best friend try her luck. Find someone who wants YOU.
